Stop by Alki Arts while you are out Art-Walking and see our exhibit 'Dimensions' to experience an offering of large & small works by our family of artists at Alki Arts!

Michael Powers is a nationally recognized talent that just happens to live in West Seattle - Lucky us! If you love guitar, or would simply enjoy basking in the sounds of this inspired composer, please join us for this great performance in a cozy setting!

This month we contrast the BIG and the small!

For the month of December, we invited several of the artists of Alki Arts to paint one large piece of art to be accompanied by a selection of their little pieces! Participating artists are: Karen Dedrickson, Debbie Bianchi, Jennifer Oak, Lezlie Jane, Lisa Sweo Eul, Reeve Washburn, Steve Jensen, Brooke Borcherding, Garreth Schuh, Lory Newsom, & Laura Van Horne.

Join us for this opening party to kick off the month of December and see all the artistic treasures, large & small!

Refreshments served and many of the artists will be in attendance!

Get ready for an intimate evening filled with captivating stories and soulful songs by the talented Carrie Akre. This in-person event at Alki Arts promises to be a night to remember. Join us for the music of our dear friend Tobias the Owl. Tobias' beautiful voice will be accompanied by the talented violinist Yun-En Liu! This is a duo you won't want to miss!

Not only is this a rare treat to have one of our favorite musicians playing for us, but it is also the one year anniversary of the gallery being in our new space, so come celebrate with us!

It's time for another monthly Artwalk in West Seattle!

Drift on in between 5-8pm while you are out Art-walking to see this month's carefully curated art including large statement pieces to help transform your homes!

'Peaceful Homes' - For the month of November we feature large-scale statement pieces sure to transform any home into a peaceful oasis. Featured artists are: Vanessa Lanza, Leon Lowman, C.A. Pierce, and Ricardo Duque.

Once named one of the "50 Women Who Rock Seattle” by the Seattle Weekly, Gretta Harley has been playing music in Seattle since the early ‘90s in rock bands, and solo.

A composer, Gretta has also written for orchestra, chamber music and piano. She co-wrote “These Streets,” a play about the forgotten women of the “grunge era” which played to sold out audiences at ACT. Gretta’s new band, Mettle Lark, plays around Seattle. Her new songs are compositions for our time. Songs of hope, love, and courage in a changing world.

This will be an evening to really enjoy Gretta solo and soak up her beautiful soul through the music and lyrics she creates.

Always the 2nd Thursday of the month- you can stroll through neighborhood businesses to see the latest original art from neighborhood artists!

We are also proud to have musical guests for the evening - Terra Nova Duo Music!

'Rising Above' is a group show. The theme will be interpreted as our gallery artists speak to 'rising above' and seeing life from 'different perspectives'. Participating artists will include Steffanie Lorig, Joanne Shellan, Steve Jensen, Lisa Lamoreaux and others among the Alki Arts roster.

Artwalk is a great time to walk around your neighborhood and check out what the local artists are doing!

Stop by to see our bold & colorful show 'Joyful Surroundings' featuring happifying artwork by Joan Stuart Ross, Reeve Washburn, Brooke Borcherding & Warren Pope!

This month we present an exhibition entitled 'Joyful Surroundings' showcasing artwork with bright and beautiful colors to perk up any interior space!

We will be featuring the large-scale mixed media work of Joan Stuart Ross as well as small sweet mixed media pieces by West Seattle's own Reeve Washburn. We will also have hanging metal sculptural work by Warren Pope and new colorful contemporary work by Brooke Borcherding!

The thread that stiches this exhibit together is that of joy and color!

Randy Weeks has been described as the “consummate songwriter’s songwriter"

He describes his music as “60's-70's era country rock, rhythm and blues, and swampy rock n roll. Mostly originals”

This is a seated 'living room style' concert.

Join us for the W.S. Artwalk! Always the 2nd Thursday of each month.  A great way to see new art, and visit neighborhood businesses!

This month we feature artist Patri O'Connor, visiting all the way from Chile! Joining Patri in her water & beach themed show are new artist to the gallery Brian Cameron & Leon Lowman with his signature abstracts in aquatic tones! We will also have brand new work from Steve Jensen! Water themed art will surround us!

Come welcome artist Patri O'Connor & her husband Oscar Morel back to Seattle for this special exhibition & visit!

Not only will we be showcasing an entire wall of water and beachscapes by Patri, but we will also have fresh new art in the gallery by artists Leon Lowman, Steve Jensen, and introducing Brian Cameron as a new artist to our gallery.

Dry Goods is a band based out of Snohomish that describes themselves as 'home grown & easy listening acoustic music'. With a great mixture of covers and original music led by lead singer PA Mathison, this group has proven to be one of our favorites!

Artwalk is a fun time to stroll the neighborhood and see fresh art in different business venues. The W.S. Artwalk held on the 2nd Thursday of each month is a great way to see great art & meet your neighbors!

Join us not only for the fabulous art we've installed, but also to welcome our old friend, ceramic artist Loren Lukens (formerly of Brace Point Pottery) back to town with his fabulous much-loved pottery! This will be a real 'Old Home Week' of art friends & fans coming to see Loren while he is in town. The gallery will be full of pottery by six different ceramic artists, plus kinetic sculpture and paintings for you to enjoy!

Our artists being showcased in July are:

Loren Lukens, Damian Grava, Garrison Coverdale, Larry Halvorsen, Mimi Miles, Rebecca Stansbury, Gary Gunderson, C.A. Pierce, Cheryl Zahniser, Kate Flückinger, Steffanie Lorig, and RobRoy Chalmers!

We love it when MoonGirl comes to play!  Their mix of sultry, versatile vocals, soaring harmonies, and warm acoustic instrumentation merge to create a sound that truly captivates. Favorite covers that will have you singing along mixed with clever original compositions!   Have a listen.

We will have just hung the show the day prior so this really is a 'first look' at the new show, as well as an opportunity to mix & mingle with the artists and discuss their artwork! This is an impressive group with some very meaningful artwork. This is an exhibit that is benefitted by talking to the artists who created the work. Reggie Garrett performs mostly original songs mixed with pop covers and more traditional style folk ballads. He is the purveyor of a unique urban strain of acoustic music incorporating a number of diverse influences, including Folk, Latin rhythms, Blues, Gospel, Celtic, Rock, Jazz and more. Reggie has teamed up with cellist Christine Gunn in an acoustic duo that takes his music in new directions. Music that is beautiful to listen to, and deeply meaningful in content as well.

This is a true concert in the gallery with seats provided. $20 suggested donation. Complementary refreshments served.
